Tim is widely known as one of the Replacements' best records. However, what's lesser known is that some Pleased To Meet Me tracks were demoed for Tim, with Bob Stinson and everything. These demos are less polished but rock harder than on PTMM, so "the Tim version" became synonymous with a secret, more kick ass version of something.
